Munnar is famous for its cool climate, large tea gardens, green meadows, hill areas, snowy ghats, and a lot more. This place is really nature’s bliss. If you’re coming with the whole family, don’t forget to take your children to Periyar wildlife sanctuary in Thekkady as they are going to love watching tigers and elephants wandering in the sanctuary. It is an incredible shelter of the environment with two rivers flowing through it.

In this four-day tour package, you are going to spend two days in Munnar, one day in Thekkady, and one day exploring Fort Kochi. In Munnar, you’ll get to enjoy the beauty of hill stations in Kerala along with sports activities like trekking, hiking, Mountain biking, rock climbing, etc. In the vast tea gardens of Munnar, you can go for cycling or a long walk and taste the best tea of your life.
Thekkady is loved as a tourist destination for the activities one can do there. You can go for bamboo rafting, boating, and trekking. And the main attraction here is the Periyar wildlife sanctuary where you can see numerous protected wild beasts.
Arrive at Cochin international airport or the nearest railway station. From there, our cab driver will pick you up and take you to Munnar, the most romantic hill station of Kerala. Sights on the way include CHEEYAPPARA and VALARA WATERFALLS. Cheeyappara waterfall is on your way 45km before you reach Munnar. Rock on which fall flows forms seven steps on the way, making the waterfall a spectacular vision by water pounding on each layer. And in a 12 km distance before Munnar, you can see Valara falls from the highway itself. The waterfall is covered by thick forest and rocky hills which make it hard to access the fall.
Once you reach Munnar, check in to your hotel for the overnight stay.
After breakfast, our cab driver will take you towards the rolling hills around Munnar. This morning you can go hiking up to the Eco-point, Kundala Lake, Mattupetty Dam, and also boating.
And in the afternoon visit Eravikulam National Park and the Tea Museum in the middle of the vast plantation. The park will be closed from February to April as it is the breeding season of the endangered Nilgiri Tahr.
Evening Sightseeing continues to Hydel park and Munnar market if you have more time and energy. And at nightfall, you’ll be taken back to the resort for the overnight stay.
On the third day after having your breakfast, your driver will take you to Thekkady which is 120 km away from Munnar. Thekkady is well-known for its tea and cardamom plantations. The beauty of Thekkady lies in the lap of PERIYAR LAKE especially PERIYAR WILDLIFE SANCTUARY (our advised timings 1:45 pm or 3:30 pm on that same day or next day morning 7:30 am). Other attractions and activities in Thekkady include Kathakali and Kalaripayattu (ancient dance and martial art forms) and elephant safari. After the day’s visit, you’ll be driven back to the hotel/resort for overnight stay.
This morning after breakfast our cab driver will take you to the mini metro city of Kerala- Cochin. This city is called the queen of the Arabian Sea. Cochin present before you the remnants from her renowned days as you move through Fort Kochi, Mattancherry Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jew Town, Old Spice market, St.Francis church, Santa Cruz Basilica, and Chinese Fishing Nets. Kochi has historical as well as the modernized importance since one part of the city is rapidly developing while history resides on the other.
After the day’s visit, the cab driver will drop you at the Cochin airport or railway station according to guest departure timings.
