In this package you’ll explore two major cities in Karnataka and Wayanad, the famous hill town in Kerala. Bangalore and Mysore reflects the royal heritages of these cities along with gardens, greenery, and other natural attractions. Bangalore has grown to a metropolitan city with a vibrant nightlife, from the old city under Mysore Maharaja. The multitude of parks and gardens named Bengaluru as the garden city. And Mysore is called the Palace City of India for its ancient brilliant palaces. The Mysore palace is a wonderful architectural monument built with various styles.
After exploring both the cities, its beautiful monuments, gardens, etc. refresh your mind, body and soul with the lush greenery of Wayanad hills. This hill town covered with forest has many natural attractions like wildlife, waterfalls, peaks, caves, etc.
Arrival at Bangalore. Our cab driver takes you to your hotel. In the afternoon proceeds to Lal Bagh for a city tour. Visit Cubbon park, Iskcon Sri Krishna Temple, Vidhan Soudha and go shopping at the Commercial Street.
Other places in Bangalore that you can go for a visit according to the time are Gavi Gangadhareshwara temple, Bangalore fort, Bangalore palace, St. Mary’s Basilica, Indira Gandhi Park, etc.
Return to your hotel at night.
After breakfast, the cab driver will take you to Mysore. Srirangapatna, the capital of the king Tipu Sultan is on your way.
You’ll reach Mysore by noon. After checking in to your hotel and resting for a while, you can visit the major attraction in Mysore which is the Mysore palace. Near the palace, you can see the oldest and the most popular Mysore zoo which holds a large variety of wild species.
Then proceed to Brindavan Garden. With amazingly beautiful flowers spread over an area of more than 60 acres, this garden has become a favorite spot for travelers in Mysore. The garden also captivates its visitors by the enchanting water fountain show.
Other attractive places in Mysore that you can visit if you have time, are St. Philomena Church, KRS Dam, Tomb of Tipu Sultan and his father King Hyder Ali, Sri Ranganathaswamy temple, Wax Museum, and Chamundeshwari temple. Then later at night, get back to your hotel for overnight stay.
After having your breakfast, leave for Kerala. Your next destination is Wayanad, Kerala’s captivating hill town on the western ghats. There are different routes from Mysore to Wayanad. And in each route, there are attractions like Nagarhole (Rajiv Gandhi) National park and Bandipur National park. Wayanad has a lot of attractions around the whole district. Once you reach Wayanad, visit the places near to the route that you are coming from. Later you can proceed to your hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast, our driver will take you to the rolling hills around WAYANAD. This is south India’s most adventurous and refreshing place blanketed with luxurious forest which gives you new magical experiences.
WAYANAD’s enticing sightseeing destinations are Banasura Dam, Edakkal Caves, Soochipara falls, Kuruva islands, and Chembra peak.
• Banasura is the biggest earth Dam in India with a wonderful view of river Banasura and evergreen vegetation
• The Edakkal caves on the top of Ambukkuthimala have many pictures, letters, and symbol carvings of the Stone Age. You have to trek and climb the hill to reach this cave with a view of three states.
• Soochipara Falls or the Sentinel Rock Waterfalls is a three-layered waterfall in Vellarimala, Wayanad. The waterfall is enclosed by Deciduous, Evergreen, and Montane forests. This fall is one of the major spots in Wayanad as a typical natural fall where you can take bath and enjoy a lot.
• There are a number of peaks in Wayanad where you can go for trekking. Being the highest one among them, Chembra Peak is the most loved trekking trail.
• The Kuruva islands contain three isolated densely wild islands and a few submersible colony islands. All of these covers an area of 950 acres in the middle of the Kabini River with abandoned islands.
