Munnar is Kerala’s most stunning hill town surrounded by lush green mountains and wide tea plantations. This amazing town in God’s own country is tagged as South India’s Kashmir. The climate in Munnar gave the place its identity. It goes down to 0 degree Celsius and comes up to a maximum of 20 degree Celsius in summers.
There is a shed load of places to visit in Munnar. The town is huddled in the middle of Anamalai hills which mean Elephant hills. Munnar is blessed with nature’s beauty in abundance. The waterfalls, hills, estates, markets and its narrow alleyways, wildlife and the snow covering all of this make the town wonderful.

Surrounded by spice plantations and the rolling hills, Munnar is a hill town in the Western Ghats mountain range. The tea plantations here have the major role in South India’s tea production. The vast green plantations with the misty cool breeze and aroma of the tea leaf are a refreshing visual.
The climates in Munnar are extremely cold in winter and moderate in summer with an occasional cool breeze from the mountains. Summer is short in Munnar. Winter is the most favorite season for tourists’ especially young couples as this is the time Munnar is most appealing.
This high range town is located at a height of 1600 meters above the level of the sea. Eravikulam national park in Munnar is a home for many endangered wild beasts and birds. You can spot different species of tigers, Nilgiri Tahr, Elephant, etc.
Apart from the breathtaking views of the rolling hills, long non-ending tea and spice gardens, waterfalls, and other enchanting visuals in Munnar, the hill town also engages you with wonderful entertainment activities including Paragliding and trekking. There are a handful of thrilling and adventurous trekking trails in Munnar.
Arrive at Cochin international airport or the nearest railway station. From there, our cab driver will pick you up and take you to Munnar, the most romantic hill station of Kerala. Sights on the way include CHEEYAPPARA and VALARA WATERFALLS. Cheeyappara waterfall is on your way 45km before you reach Munnar. Rock on which fall flows forms seven steps on the way, making the waterfall a spectacular vision by water pounding on each layer. And in a 12 km distance before Munnar, you can see Valara falls from the highway itself. The waterfall is covered by thick forest and rocky hills which make it hard to access the fall.
Once you reach Munnar, check in to your hotel for the overnight stay.
After breakfast, our cab driver will take you towards the rolling hills around Munnar. This morning you can go hiking up to the Eco-point, Kundala Lake, Mattupetty Dam, and also boating.
And in the afternoon visit Eravikulam National Park and the Tea Museum in the middle of the vast plantation. The park will be closed from February to April as it is the breeding season of the endangered Nilgiri Tahr.
Evening Sightseeing continues to Hydel park and Munnar market if you have more time and energy. And at nightfall, you’ll be taken back to the resort for the overnight stay.
This morning after breakfast our cab driver will take you to the mini metro city of Kerala- Cochin. This city is called the queen of the Arabian Sea. Cochin present before you the remnants from her renowned days as you move through Fort Kochi, Mattancherry Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jew Town, Old Spice market, St.Francis church, Santa Cruz Basilica, and Chinese Fishing Nets. Kochi has historical as well as the modernized importance since one part of the city is rapidly developing while history resides on the other.
After the day’s visit, the cab driver will drop you at the Cochin airport or railway station according to guest departure timings.
