In this eight-day tour package, you’ll explore Wayanad, Athirapally, Munnar, and Cochin along with a day and a night in a houseboat moving through the backwaters of Kerala. You’ll take the houseboat ride in Alleppey or Kumarakom based on the season and availability.
For sightseeing in this package; Munnar presents you a green paradise, Thekkady has a large accumulation of wildlife, Athirapally has an enchanting waterfall amid the forest and Cochin presents you an array of monuments and attractions. And for adventures; you can go for trekking, jungle safari, mountain biking, swimming, river rafting, boating, etc.
Arrive at Kozhikode(Calicut) international airport or railway station. Our representative will drive you to the most adventurous romantic hill station of Kerala. On the way, you can see Thusharagiri waterfalls, the famous Thamarassery Ghat, and many more charming places. Later you can proceed to Vythiri and check in to the hotel for overnight stay.
After breakfast, our driver will take you to the rolling hills around WAYANAD. This is south India’s most adventurous and refreshing place blanketed with luxurious forest which gives you new magical experiences.
WAYANAD’S enticing sightseeing destinations are Banasura Dam, Edakkal Caves, Soochipara falls, Kuruva islands, and Chembra peak.
• Banasura is the biggest earth Dam in India with a wonderful view of river Banasura and evergreen vegetation
• The Edakkal caves on the top of Ambukkuthimala have many pictures, letters, and symbol carvings of the Stone Age. You have to trek and climb the hill to reach this cave with a view of three states.
• Soochipara Falls or the Sentinel Rock Waterfalls is a three-layered waterfall in Vellarimala, Wayanad. The waterfall is enclosed by Deciduous, Evergreen, and Montane forests. This fall is one of the major spots in Wayanad as a typical natural fall where you can take bath and enjoy a lot.
Later drive back to hotel/resort for overnight stay.
After breakfast, you can go for WAYANAD sightseeing which includes the remaining attractions like,
• Chembra Peak- There are a number of peaks in Wayanad where you can go for trekking. Being the highest one among them, Chembra Peak is the most loved trekking trail.
• The Kuruva islands contain three isolated densely wild islands and a few submersible colony islands. All of these covers an area of 950 acres in the middle of the Kabini River with abandoned islands.
Apart from these major attractions, there are a lot more alluring places like Pookode Lake, Neelimala, Wildlife sanctuary, etc. Cover maximum destinations as possible with the day and enjoy the alluring Wayanad to its maximum. Later you can go back to your hotel/ resort for the overnight stay.

Next morning after breakfast, our cab driver will take you to Athirapally which has the largest waterfall in Kerala. Besides that, you can also visit Vazhachal and Chapra falls. The other attractions in Athirapally include Anakkayam, Thumboormuzhi garden, Malakkapara tea garden, Ezhattumugham, Dams, Abhayaranyam, etc.
You can go for trekking near the sides of Athirapally waterfall which is surrounded by forest. Adventure enthusiast could also take a walk through the Sholayar forests. But don’t go beyond the restricted areas.

In the morning after breakfast, our cab driver will take you to Munnar, the most romantic hill station of Kerala. Sights on the way include CHEEYAPPARA and VALARA WATERFALLS. Cheeyappara waterfall is on your way 45km before you reach Munnar. Rock on which fall flows forms seven steps on the way, making the waterfall a spectacular vision by water pounding on each layer. And in a 12 km distance before Munnar, you can see Valara falls from the highway itself. The waterfall is covered by thick forest and rocky hills which make it hard to access the fall.
Once you reach Munnar, check in to your hotel for the overnight stay.
After breakfast, our cab driver will take you towards the rolling hills around Munnar. This morning you can go hiking up to the Eco-point, Kundala Lake, Mattupetty Dam, and also boating.
And in the afternoon visit Eravikulam National Park and the Tea Museum in the middle of the vast plantation. The park will be closed from February to April as it is the breeding season of the endangered Nilgiri Tahr.
Evening Sightseeing continues to Hydel park and Munnar market if you have more time and energy. And at nightfall, you’ll be taken back to the resort for the overnight stay.
After breakfast, you’ll depart for your next adventure- Kettuvallam. This is a houseboat completely made of bamboos held together with coir knots. With furnished bedrooms, kitchen, washrooms, and other facilities, Kettuvallam is a small adorable house on the backwaters. You can check in on a Kettuvallam at 12 pm and check out at 9 am. On the daytime take a ride through the backwater and explore the unscathed beauty of rural Kerala. And spent the night floating on the water in this amazing bamboo home. Food will be served on the houseboat. A trip to gods owns country without a night in the Kettuvallam is actually half-done.
This morning after breakfast our cab driver will take you to the mini metro city of Kerala- Cochin. This city is called the queen of the Arabian Sea. Cochin present before you the remnants from her renowned days as you move through Fort Kochi, Mattancherry Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jew Town, Old Spice market, St.Francis church, Santa Cruz Basilica, and Chinese Fishing Nets. Kochi has historical as well as the modernized importance since one part of the city is rapidly developing while history resides on the other.
After the day’s visit, the cab driver will drop you at the Cochin airport or railway station according to guest departure timings.
